UPDATE: New Jersey Boardwalk Reconstructed Using TimberTech Composite Decking

New Jersey boardwalk built using TimberTech Composite Decking.

The mayor and town officials celebrated with the community the opening of the New Jersey boardwalk built using TimberTech Composite Decking.

On May 24, 2013, the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, a new boardwalk was opened along Pier Beach. The Mayor of Spring Lake, New Jersey and town officials celebrated the completed project with the community at a ribbon cutting ceremony, just in time for the first beach weekend of the season.

After the devastation and total destruction of the New Jersey boardwalk left by Hurricane Sandy, crews worked diligently to reconstruct a new boardwalk using TimberTech materials from their Docksider product line. These products are designed and made specifically to be used for boardwalks and other projects where water is a constant element. The crewmen were very pleased with the quality of the Docksider products, stating that it was easy to work with and quick to install. Ultimately, the new boardwalk was completed before the deadline.

The area’s seasonal highlight is Memorial Day weekend when people flock to the boardwalk to celebrate the holiday and warmer weather.  Read more about the boardwalk’s opening here.
